TRP part of historic investment in Latino communities

The Resurrection Project (TRP) received the third largest award of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP2) funds under the CPLC/NALCAB NSP2 National Consortium. A total of $137 million were invested in Latino communities across the nation as part of this consortium.
TRP was awarded $13.8 million in NSP2 funds, and invested these to acquire 40 abandoned homes in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. By 2013, TRP had rehabilitated these 40 properties into 75 units of quality, affordable housing, which created 150 jobs and housed 190 people.
