TRP staff on the move: Lupe Chavez joins National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Agents
by Diana Pando
Recently, Lupe Chavez, The Resurrection Project’s (TRP) Real Estate Agent Broker, was selected to serve on the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ (NAHREP) Board of Directors. Lupe will be bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the NAHREP board.
“I’m excited to nurture our relationship with such a high-profile organization and help bring down-payment assistance and services to their members,” said Lupe Chavez.
NAHREP is a national organization dedicated to the achievement of homeownership to create wealth and sustainability for the Hispanic market.
Their goal is to keep Hispanic needs and interests top of mind with policy makers and industry lending leaders. The work that TRP does in their Financial Wellness department aligns perfectly with NAHREP to help individuals and families who are ready to invest in their neighborhood.
In a recent report released by NAHREP and The Hispanic Wealth Project, data revealed an “increase in homeownership rates and in the number of owner Hispanic households while overall U.S. homeownership rates have declined for the twelfth consecutive year.”
TRP’s Home Purchase Program helps people achieve the dream of homeownership by following a careful action plan that begins with financial stability, continues through the mortgage application process, and ends with the purchase of a home.
Lupe Chavez helps many families throughout the year with this process. She understands that for many Latinos homeownership represents the American dream. Recently, The Pew Research Center Hispanic Trend reported that, “Latinos agree that buying a home is the best long-term investment a person can make in the U.S.”
TRP’s commission-free real estate agents help make the process of homeownership less stressful. They take the time to walk families through the process and achieve the dream of owning their own homes. When a TRP client buys a home, they are investing in that community, helping it grow, and helping it become a healthier, safer place.
