At The Resurrection Project’s Immigration Legal Services Program, we offer a variety of legal services to the immigrant community. These services include: monthly citizenship workshops, legal consultations, family petitions, adjustment of status, DACA renewal application assistance, green card renewal, consular processing (without waivers) and U-Visas & VAWA’s for victims of qualifying crimes and domestic violence.
The Resurrection Project is looking for volunteer’s that are committed, empathetic and passionate about helping the immigrant community in Chicago. If you are willing to volunteer at our monthly citizenship workshops or at our office, please fill out and submit the volunteer application.
The Resurrection Project’s Pro Bono Assistance Inquiry Form
The Resurrection Project is looking for attorneys and general volunteers to assist with our monthly citizenship workshops and legal clinic office hours. Non-immigration attorneys, 3Ls, and non-Spanish speakers are welcome. The attorneys engage in fact finding directly with applicants and then with guidance help to advise the applicant on his/her eligibility for citizenship. Law students are supervised by The Resurrection Project’s managing attorney. Training is provided.
