Receive legal advice, complete your citizenship application and verify if your eligible for the fee waiver or reduced waiver.

Please bring the following information:

Additional fee of $20 to cover process and mailing once your application is completed.

Personal Identification:
-legal permanent resident card (green card)
-social security card
-driver’s license or state I.D.
-birth certificate

Information about your spouse(s):
-name of your spouse and date of birth
-alien registration number or date of naturalization (if applicable)
-date of marriage
-date of divorce(s) (if applicable)
-certificate of marriage or divorce (if applicable)

Information from the last 5 years:
-list of dates of travel outside of the U.S. addresses and employers with dates and locations

Information on all of your children:
-names and date of birth
-addresses (even if they do not live with you or live in another country)
-legal permanent resident number (if applicable)

Criminal Record (if it applies):
-dates and places of arrests
-causes and results
-documents relating to the incidents
-certified disposition from the Police

To Verify Eligibility for the Fee Waiver:
-last year’s tax return
-check stubs from the last 30 days
-unemployment letter (if applicable)
-letter from Department of Human Services (DHS) if you receive LINK, TANF or Medicaid card and date when you began receiving the benefit

-number and date of registration

Homebuyer Course Part 2: Buying A Home Today & Home Savvy, English @ La Casa

Designed especially for first time homebuyers, this FREE two-part course provides the education and the tools necessary to purchase a home in today’s market. In two three-hour sessions, our experts will cover everything that prospective homebuyers need to know: the homebuying process, down payment assistance programs, credit and money management, and how to sustain homeownership after closing.

At the end of the course, participants receive a Certificate of Completion which is useful when applying for down payment assistance programs.

The course is facilitated by a panel of experts; housing counselor, loan officer, realty, and attorney.
