TRP offers Citizenship workshops, where we can help you with your Citizenship application. Please CLICK HERE to find out more information about upcoming workshops.

On January 9, 2018, a federal court blocked the decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, ordering the Department of Homeland Security to resume accepting DACA renewal applications.

This ruling is temporary and TRP will be hosting DACA renewal clinics for application assistance for those renewing their DACA. Please CLICK HERE to find out more information about our DACA renewal clinics.

TRP offers legal consultations through our Immigration Walk-In Hours every Tuesday at 9:00am. Please CLICK HERE for more information.  We offer the following services:

  • Citizenship and Naturalization
  • Family Petitions
  • Adjustment of Status
  • Consular Processing (without waivers)
  • Renewal of Legal Permanent Resident Card
  • U Visas and VAWAs for victims of qualifying crimes and domestic violence

Immigration Education

TRP offers Know Your Rights trainings at schools, parishes and community organizations.

For more information or to request a Know Your Rights presentation please contact Laura Mendoza at 312-919-3067, or lmendoza@resurrectionproject.org

Immigration Advocacy

We need all hands on deck! Close to 15,000 DACA recipients have lost status and over 120 lose it every day.

We must call on Congress to take action. Call your congress member for a Dream Act now: 1-888-778-6856!

Volunteer Opportunities

TRP trains volunteers to help qualified community members complete their DACA applications. Volunteers are also needed to meet one on one with applicants, prepare applicants, make photocopies, review the necessary documents, inform the applicants about other resources, and more. All volunteers must attend a training session, where they will learn everything necessary to directly aid community members.

For more information on TRP’s Immigration Services, please contact Erendira Rendon at 312-880-1151, or erendon@resurrectionproject.org.
