Completed in 1996, Casa Tabasco is actually two buildings with four units on the same lot. It’s TRP’s first rehabilitation property in the vibrant Little Village neighborhood. The building had fallen into disrepair, and gangs continuously tagged them with graffiti. It now consists of 8 units with original hardwood floors and skylight fitted with stairwells. The buildings have since been kept clean are occupied by households earning less than 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
