This building was a vacant four-story apartment complex that had long been a haven for crime, with frequent shootings and overdose deaths. A court order eventually vacated the property due to the previous owner’s negligence.

In response, the Baldera family—TRP block club leaders and St. Procopius parishioners—organized neighbors to advocate for its redevelopment by TRP.

The fourth floor was removed, and the site was transformed into 12 high-quality two, and three-bedroom rental apartments.
