Leadership Development & Education

HomeLeadership Development & Education

At the Resurrection Project, we believe that access to knowledge is just as important as access to legal resources. As such, we work with community leaders to educate vulnerable community members about immigration policies, their rights, and legal resources.

By recruiting, training, and organizing promotoras from Pilsen, Little Village, and the Back of the Yards neighborhoods—we ensure that our neighbors are aware of the issues affecting their communities. Through this leadership development model, we reach 3,500 immigrants each year, offering Know Your Rights and other trainings, such as Preparing an Emergency Plan, Protecting Your Assets, and more.
