TRP Rental Properties
The Resurrection Project (TRP) plans, builds, and manages rental properties in the Pilsen, Back of the Yards, and Little Village neighborhoods. We offer more than 800 units of affordable housing, workforce housing, and single-room occupancy (SRO) housing at an average rate of $680 per month.
Affordable Housing
TRP manages three types of affordable housing programs:
Public Housing
The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) is able to provide direct assistance to low-income individuals and families. TRP manages fifteen public housing units at Casa Queretaro on the CHA’s behalf. The CHA determines these rents and bases them on the tenant’s income level. Available units are available to view on the CHA’s waitlist. More information about public housing and the application process can be found on our FAQs page.
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
These units are offered at a lower-than-market rate to renters. Federal tax incentives to property owners for the construction (but not operation) of affordable housing ensure that rents are controlled and reasonable for low- to moderate-income renters who earn less than 60% of the average income in the area.
Income Designated Housing
These units are available to applicants whose household income is less than 60% of the average income in the area. Eligible applicants receive reduced or subsidized rates on rentals.
Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Housing
This emergency housing is available to those in need of short- to medium-term accommodations.
