La gobernanza de las cooperativas de vivienda es un sistema democrático en el que todos los miembros tienen la misma voz y voto en las decisiones y la gestión de la cooperativa. Normalmente, se trata de una junta o un comité de gestión, elegidos por los miembros, que se encargan de las operaciones cotidianas, pero siguen siendo responsables ante el grupo.
