The Resurrection Project is honored to announce that on Thursday, March 31st, Guacolda Reyes, TRP’s Vice President of Community Development, was awarded La Raza’s Annual Mujeres Destacadas/Distinguished Women recognition awards, a prestigious award honoring the many contributions Latinas have made within our community. Guacolda was selected out of 30 strong nominees in the Business & Technology category, which recognizes women who have played a significant role in the economic development or technological advancement for the Latino community.
Throughout TRP’s history, Guacolda has been a true leader in community and economic development in the Chicagoland area.  We have been benefitting from her guidance and expertise at TRP for over 13 years now, and our community development projects during that time, including over 500 units of affordable housing in our neighborhoods, are directly attributed to her work.
