The Resurrection Project is excited to announce Imagine More, our 25th Anniversary Gala on October 22nd, 2015 at Chicago’s prestigious Drake Hotel.
The origins of The Resurrection Project (TRP) were modest, but the results are bold. In 1990, residents from Chicago’s Pilsen community were determined to build a healthier and safer neighborhood.Working through six local parishes, they raised $30,000 to create TRP, which has since leveraged more than $346 million to transform communities and empower more than 38,500 individuals.
While proud of the successes of the first 25 years,TRP is eager to realize the opportunities that lie ahead.
As we begin to imagine the next 25 years, we invite you to Imagine More,The Resurrection Project’s 25th Anniversary Gala. This festive event will bring together more than 500 of Chicago’s civic, business, and community leaders to celebrate TRP’s impact and share its vision for the future.The gala will feature testimony and commendation from Chicago area dignitaries, a cocktail reception and dinner, and performances showcasing Latino culture.
Previous celebrations have enjoyed the support of U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, Francis Cardinal George, Northern Trust’s former Chairman and CEO William Osborn, U.S. Congressman Luis Gutierrez, and former Mayor Richard M. Daley. Past sponsors have included Bank of America, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, and US Bank.
