2016 Annual Report Is Now Available
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Last year, The Resurrection Project made significant strides in the work we are doing to do more in 5 years than in our previous 25 – our Vision 2020. We thank you for your continued support that has enabled us to broaden our impact allowing us to have a transformative effect on many more people and communities. Our 2016 Annual Report is now available for download and spotlights many of the people being impacted by the work we are doing.
In this milestone year, The Resurrection Project (TRP) inaugurated an additional 255 units of affordable housing moving the organization a step closer to its goal of developing or rehabbing 800 units of affordable housing by 2020.
TRP’s Immigration Department increased its outreach efforts to help families deal with policy changes due to the new political climate in 2016. In partnership with the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office, TRP has led the way providing citywide support and legal counsel to immigrant families, especially those at risk of deportation. In this past year, TRP supported nearly 2,000 individuals through DACA application assistance, citizenship workshops and other legal services, while continuing our work in policy reform.
TRP thanks you for your continued support that has enabled us to broaden our impact allowing us to have transformative impact on many more people and communities.
We invite you to view our 2016 Annual Report and read the success stories of the individuals and families we serve, who are the foundation of TRP’s 27 years of achievements.
