While the decision to end DACA has been part of the current administration\u2019s plan to aggressively pursue the detention and deportation of all immigrants, the Supreme Court nevertheless protected the rights of many young immigrants to live and work in the United States.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">There are nearly 800,000 Dreamers that are not only contributing significantly to the social fabric of the United States but also to its economy. The Center for American Progress reported that nearly 203,000 Dreamers are on the frontlines working to protect the health and safety of Americans as the country confronts COVID-19.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">\u201cTRP stands with all immigrants and today celebrates with DREAMers. This ruling will protect\u00a0<i>DACAmented\u00a0<\/i>immigrants allowing them to stay with their families, continue to go to school or work and provide for themselves and their families. Although Trump may continue to attempt to rescind DACA, today\u2019s ruling reminds the current administration that they are not above the law. Immigrants are here to stay.
