Pilsen Community Rallies Against State Budget Cuts

The proposed Illinois State budget cuts will have severely detrimental effects on services that are crucial for children, youth, and families. Programs for families in need are in jeopardy of being cut in half, if not eliminated.
These devastating cuts would translate into a lack without educational support, lack of counseling/therapy for mental illness, abuse and neglect.

We urge our legislators to put people before politics, work through the challenges, and give the people in Illinois a deserving budget – not one balanced on the backs of working class families.
