La Casa Student Housing

La Casa is an innovative model in student housing that surrounds students with all the benefits and resources of on‐campus living— plus the added advantage of an onsite Resource Center. The Resource Center provides a wide range of student support services that help in navigating the complexities of college life and developing leadership skills. La Casa is a community of students from different universities who live and learn together in order to increase their chance of college success. La Casa is comprised of two buildings: a student residence hall and a resource center.

La Casa DormitoryLa Casa Student Residence Hall
The student residence hall is a six‐story building located in Chicago’s vibrant Pilsen neighborhood at the intersection of 18th Street and Paulina. With easy access to all major highways, CTA Pink Line, and several major CTA bus routes, La Casa is located in an ideal location that is minutes from downtown and all major universities and colleges in the Chicagoland area. The first floor of the building will house space for recreation, reception, and business such as a café. The top five floors of this environmentally friendly building will house student suites, a fitness room, laundry facilities, and meeting space. The dormitory will house 100 students and five resident aides. The student suites are fully furnished in a modern‐style and have large, fully‐equipped kitchens. All major utilities (gas, water, electric, etc.) and Wi‐Fi are included in the living rate. Students may qualify for support from the La Casa student housing scholarship fund.
